<p>A unique Brandy from Emilia-Romagna.</p><p>Meet <em>Italy’s best-selling Brandy.</em> In the early <em>1700s</em>, there was a certain <em>French family named Buton</em>, which dealt with the distillation of noble Spirits, supplying alcohol to <em>Napoleon I. Jean,</em> a talented Buton heir, took the family recipe book on his journey to Italy where he finally settled in <em>Emilia-Romagna, the region of great Wines</em>. In 1820, Jean set up an experimental distillery in Bologna. It was a huge success and in 1830, Jean set up Italy’s first steam distillery: it’s here that Buton Cognac was first made. Destroyed by the disastrous bombings of World War II which luckily left the precious cellars intact, the distillery survived 200 years of historic events and still produces premium Brandies today.</p><p><em>Vecchia Romagna Classica</em> is their <em>youngest Brandy </em>with fresh and delicate flavors. Made from the finest grapes that are continuously distilled, it’s aged in <em>premium oak barrels.</em> This results in fresh and subtle flavors that come up on the<em> well-balanced palate</em> as stewed plum, dry notes, and citrusy orange zest. This wonderfully unique Brandy is best savored neat. </p>
