Chardonnay (30%) brings the elegance and finesse of a perfectly balanced wine, while a small percentage of Pinot Meunier (20%) rounds out the blend.In 1810, Madame Clicquot invented the first ever vintage champagne and, in 2015, Veuve Clicquot declared the 67th vintage of the house.Producer Tasting NoteThis wine stands out for its elegance, tension and energy. The first impression is of its tension, verticality and minerality, after which the wine unfolds its aromas of toast, roasted coffee beans and praline. The excellent structure makes this a fine, upstanding vintage. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, citrus fruit zest, dried apricot, dates, marmalade, toast, biscuit and praline.Veuve Clicquot’s vintage Champagne is unique for its use of wines vinified and aged in large oak casks (10%), which adds strength and aromatic intensity.
