Its slopes facing east and therefore benefiting from maximum sunshine, as well as its limestone soil give the wines produced here a beautiful expression of minerality and terroir. In 1960, Bernard Voirin married Nicole Desmoulins. They are both descendants of winemakers and obviously decided to dedicate themselves to viticulture and create their own brand: Champagne Voirin Desmoulins. They will dedicate their entire existence to this wonderful profession. One of their three children, Pascale, first worked alongside them and then took over the operation in 1997. This is how this story retains its family and… passionate character! Today the area cultivated with vineyards is 9 hectares, distributed in the municipalities of Chouilly, Verneuil, Mont Saint-Père and Gland. The vines are distributed between Chardonnay, for 3 hectares, Pinot Noir for 3.5 hectares and Pinot Meunier for 2.5 hectares. The annual volume sold, both through internal sales and distance selling, is 75,000 bottles. TheChouilly territory gives life to champagnes imbued with liveliness, with light and delicate aromas. Champagne Voirin Desmoulins is well known to winemakers. As proof: it has been cited several times by a prestigious guide such as the Hachette Guide!
