<p>Biodynamic Austrian wine from Gut Oggau, made from hand-harvested Weissburgunder on limestone and slate soils. Partially fermented on skins, and all fermented and aged in wooden vats, this white has length and ageing potential, but plenty of energy: ripe fruit and minerals, and the signature acidity and playfulness we’d expect from a Gut Oggau white.</p><p>Gut Oggau is a 14-hectare Austrian wine estate located in the province of Burgenland by Lake Neusiedl. The estate is run by Eduard Tscheppe and his wife Stephanie. The individual personalities of the wine are expressed in the faces on the labels created by Jung von Matt (German designer) and brought together in the Gut Oggau family tree. A unique and fascinating way of describing the wines, they taste every bit as intriguing as the labels suggest.</p><p>Family tree: “Mechtild’s and Betholdi’s son, Joschuari’s and Emmeram’s brother.
