<p> Whiskey Glenmorangie 16 Years Old The Tribute (1LT, 43.0% Vol.)Details</p><p>Third and definitely the most particular of the three releases in the Travel’s Retail series (“The Accord” and “The Elementa” the other two), The Tribute is a batch of Glenmorangie distilled with the use of peated barley. A practice no longer used by the distillery but which with this release wants to pay tribute to the old Glenmorangie which had a light level of peat.</p><p>The Glenmorangie 16 Years Old – The Tribute is a limited edition peated single malt Scotch whisky, aged for 16 years in selected ex-bourbon American oak barrels before being bottled at a classic 43% vol.</p><p>Color: Amber.</p><p>Aroma: On the nose the peat is light, we have notes of vanilla, flowering meadow, green grass and citrus fruits all surrounded by a light smoke.</p><p>Taste: Vanilla welcomes us on the palate, then fruit (lemon and pear), toasted almonds and ginger with hints of peat smoke and tobacco.</p><p>Finish: Of medium persistence, the peat is subtle but present, we have notes of citrus, dark chocolate and ginger with hints of toffee and vanilla.</p>
