<p>Light and bright straw yellow. Very complex and multi-layered aroma, with notes of stone fruit, hay, subtle toast and hints of baking. Intense, full and broad mouthfeel, with a remarkable balance between breadth and acidic freshness. Long, textured finish.</p><p>Código Bical is a unique, monovarietal wine that gives all the focus to the Bical grape variety.</p><p>Vinification: Grapes from an old vineyard in Bical, in the parish of Melo, sub-region of Serra da Estrela. Direct pressing and static decantation for approximately 36 hours. The must is then transferred to an old 500 L French oak barrel. Native fermentation and aging on total lees until mid-March. Transferred back to the same barrel. After leaving the barrel, the wine is lightly filtered and bottled in August 2024, with a total of around 11 months of aging in barrel.</p><p>Oenology: Tiago Macena</p><p>Physicochemical parameters:pH 3.43Total Acidity 4.52 g/l</p>
